ANNIEOwnermore about annie
Hi! My name is Annie and I’m the owner/lead groomer of the Crüe! I got my start in 2000 (surprising since I’m only 29… wink, wink!) and even after all this time there isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t love my job! I am definitely known for my doodle and hand scissor cuts but love to do pattern cuts like Airdales, Schnauzers and Kerry Blues. Grooming is an incredible trade; it takes skill, a good eye for balance, patience, an artistic flare but the best part for me is that I get to spend my days with the dogs I love and it’s different every day and even after almost 19 years I’m still learning and honing my skills! |
NIKKIGeneral Managermore about NIKKI
My name’s Nikki and I’m absolutely stoked to be the General Manager of the Crüe! I moved to Calgary mid-pandemic, on a whim, in search of a better quality of life. After struggling to find a job right away, I was hopelessly scrolling through Indeed when the application for Muttley came through like a shining beacon of furry light. I’ve always had a seemingly insatiable love for animals (with a healthy bias towards dogs), but had always spent my time volunteering with them, never considering a career in animal care! As soon as I researched more about the company, I loved that I could align with the values, story, and overall business model. I just knew I’d be the perfect fit! To my luck, she thought so too, and it’s been such an amazing opportunity ever since. I love every aspect about my job; seeing how happy our clients are, how happy their beautiful furry companions make my staff, it’s all so darn wholesome! I am never bored, and my face never goes without sloppy smooches every day from your furry best friends. I’m literally paid to do something I used to love to do for free in my spare time. What more could I ask for?! ❤️ |
TAYLORAssistant Managermore about TAYLOR
I’m so grateful to have gotten the opportunity to work with all the amazing staff and all the dogs at Muttley Crüe. I have had many work experiences over the years, but nothing comes close to what I have experienced here. There is no such thing as having a bad day when you are working with all these amazing, life changing four legged friends. I can’t wait until I can meet more of them and can have everyone leaving happy and always wanting to come back! |
